Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids. The best known Omega-3 fatty acids are EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). Oily fish such as mackerel, salmon, herring, sardines, trout, is the main food source of omega-3 fatty acids.
